Back-Office Operations Manager

This department provides mobile services and solutions to corporate clients. We partner with corporations to identify and solve diverse challenges, empowering them through the provision of Rakuten Mobile and other group assets.

You will be relied upon by sales representatives, contributing to their success from a supportive, rather than frontline, position. This role will allow you to develop strong coordination skills and hospitality by understanding the needs of sales and management stakeholders and creating an environment that maximizes sales performance.

You will gain comprehensive back-office operational skills by cross-functionally managing budget, general affairs, and accounting processes.

You will gain valuable experience in business improvement, applicable in various fields, by exploring and coordinating the introduction of AI and DX in practical settings.

To further promote business improvement through DX/AI implementation in back-office operations, we are seeking individuals who can manage back-office tasks while analyzing existing processes and proposing and coordinating business improvements.

You will be responsible for back-office operations and operational improvements as part of the corporate sales planning and operations management department.

This role also involves implementing in-house DX and AI for business improvement, as well as streamlining back-office operations through consolidation.

Visualization of Operational Tasks: Analyze and visualize operations by calculating work hours, understanding processes, and identifying areas where significant work hours are spent.

Consideration of DX/System Implementation: Coordinate the investigation, adjustment, and operation of DX/systems for efficiency and quality improvement.

Training and Development of Operational Members: Manualize back-office tasks, prevent the monopolization of knowledge by specific members, and train staff to be capable of handling any task.

Sales Planning Department, Sales Department, Budget Management and Procurement-related Departments, Human Resources and General Affairs Departments.

10 members. The team is divided into a Sales Support Team and a Back-Office Support Team, but both teams handle various sales back-office tasks and collaborate frequently. Placement will be decided after joining the company.

The team consists of employees with various employment types, including contract employees, temporary staff, and outsourced personnel. Many female employees work here, including those balancing work and family life. There is no problem if you are not proficient in English.

Individuals who can adapt flexibly to change and tackle challenging situations.

Individuals who correctly understand the impact on sales and other departments and take responsibility for their work.

Individuals with a sense of ownership who can execute back-office tasks smoothly and accurately.

Individuals who are eager to actively adopt new tools/systems such as DX and AI without resistance.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Proven track record of independently leading and achieving business improvements in an office environment.

Experience as a team leader.

Experience in performance evaluation and improvement of back-office operations.

Experience in back-office operations in sales-related departments (industry background does not matter).

Experience using Kintone or Salesforce in business (experience with other systems is also welcome; development experience is a plus).

Experience in internal/external business improvement or project promotion.

Experience in general affairs, accounting, or legal management.

Experience in business improvement utilizing AI.
