✨ About The Role
- Develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services, focusing on backend software capabilities and tight integration between frontend and backend systems
- Collaborate with satellite operators and software engineers to understand requirements, implement new features, and troubleshoot issues for efficient satellite operations
- Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EC2, and RDS to optimize resource utilization, automate processes, and ensure scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, and performance of the software
- Work in an Agile Scrum environment as part of an engineering team, contributing to the development of APIs, integration with various AWS services, and task automation for CI/CD pipeline building

⚡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with 5+ years in backend development, full stack development, or a related role, with a strong technical skill set and drive for product excellence
- Proficient in Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform, with familiarity in Javascript and experience in full stack/frontend software development
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the integration between frontend and backend systems
- Self-motivated individual with a high standard for software quality, performance, and maintainability, capable of completing projects independently and on time
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a U.S. Person status required for this role
