Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

What You Will Do:
- Support the execution of new product development projects. Responsibilities include:
- Developing new design, 3D models of prototype components, assemblies, and test fixtures using SolidWorks
- Performing engineering design calculations
- Authoring and executing product validation test procedures
- Documenting results through formal test reports
- Creating design calculators to support engineering analysis
What You Will Bring:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with all design engineering calculation (preferred but not required)
- Background in electro-mechanical systems (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with product development testing (preferred)
- Ability to work semi-autonomously with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Skills:
- Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, and 5-8 years of related experience.
- Proficient with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn.
- Proficient in self-management within a team environment
- Time Management: The ability to allocate time efficiently, set priorities, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
- Task Organization: Being able to plan and organize individual tasks and responsibilities in a way that aligns with the team's objectives.

Benefits
Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 yearly
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Spring, TX. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Travel Requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
