Key Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems, including clarification of any client queries.
- Planned and preventive maintenance of wind turbine generator systems.
- Documenting of call-out responses, fault finding and repair work in service reports, logbooks and checklists.
- Coordination of external and internal service providers and contractors on site.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the wind turbine.
- Work unsupervised to plan the jobs preparing tools, parts, timing and resources needed for the works assigned.
- Comply with safety regulations, operation, service as well as other procedural manuals.
- Work in corporation with on-site subcontractors (supervision and local EHS site rules).
- Support the validation and engineering team.
- Support of main component exchange on site.
- Capable to troubleshoot wind turbine failure modes.
- Coordination of service teams on site incl external support. (Holiday, back-up, etc.)
- Keep the warehouse, office and site container in a working condition.
- Keep the turbine and site pad in an appropriate state (clean, tidy and safe).
- Focus on high availability of the wind turbine.
- Create PAC cases, EHS hazard cards, intervention reports.
- Follow-up meetings with daily/weekly progress.

Work Experience
- Professional wind turbine technician with broad knowledge and competences.
- Highly skilled with electrical components and capable of switching off WTG from the Grid.
- High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems.
- Able to work at heights and high level of physical fitness.
- Structured worker with technical & analytical abilities.
- Willing to travel if required for training.
- Willing to work overtime, sometimes also at the weekends / Weekend Duty cover.
- Familiar with MS-Office operating system.
