Piping Engineer - 2D & 3D

Key Responsibilities

• Review P&ID and 3D scans for discrepancies and redline mark up the changes.
• Review and revise P&ID designs based on redline markups.
• Create plot plan based on 3D scans with correct representation of all equipment, pipe, valves & other fittings.
• Assign tags for all the equipment, instrument and pipe.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Capture the ambiguity in a structured approach to communicate it back relevant stakeholders.
• Guide team members in any technical clarifications or issues.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.

Work Experience

• 2 - 4 years of experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting of P&ID, PFD, GAs etc.
• Good knowledge of process engineering concepts and physical plant construction.
• Familiarity with pipe fittings, valves, pressure rating, PMS.
• Experienced with applicable National / International codes (API, ASME, ASTM, EURO, CSA, AS Etc.).
• She/he should have the skills to work with diverse team of people, be innovative and adapt quickly to new and upcoming technologies.
