Key responsibilities include:

• Collect data on pipeline specifications, including maps, construction details, depth of cover, operating pressure, maintenance history, and geotechnical hazards.
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, industry codes, and standards to ensure compliance.
• Communication with various stakeholders such as pipeline design/inspection/ROW/construction teams.
• Awareness of pipeline fabrication, welding, installation, destructive and non-destructive, hydrostatic testing, and commissioning methods.
• Perform pipeline defect assessment, crack management, fatigue growth, and fracture mechanics and fitness-for-service assessments.
• Perform pipeline threat and PIM review (integrating Synergi within current processes and updating documentation).
• Perform stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and seam susceptibility desktop assessments.

Work experience:

• 8+ years' experience with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Specialization in Pipeline Engineering is an advantage.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas domain with upstream or downstream refinery.
• MAT-8, Pipelife DNV-GL.
• Exposure to RCM, preventive maintenance.
• Exposure to risk-based inspection is an advantage.
