We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to act as the technical coordinator for aero engine repair, maintenance, and issue resolution activities. The role involves coordinating with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and MRO teams to ensure timely and effective closure of engine-related issues and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engine repair and maintenance activities with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and MRO.
  • Act as focal point for troubleshooting component technical issues and ensure proper follow-up on repair progress, cross validation of corrective and preventive actions and closure.
  • Support inspection, repair, and shop visit activities for aero engines.
  • Review and interpret ATA chapters, Engine Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Repair Schemes, Service Bulletins, and other OEM technical documents.
  • Monitor & ensure repairs and maintenance activities are carried out as per approved Maintenance / Repair Manuals.
  • Preparation of Repair Schemes / Documentations, maintenance findings, and service updates.
  • Support customers and MRO teams with technical guidance during engine issues and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal engineering teams for technical clarifications and repair disposition.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in aero engine heavy maintenance or MRO environment.
  • Experience on Pratt & Whitney (PW1100) engines preferred; GE/RR experience acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of Aero engine component materials, coatings, surface treatments, Non-Conformance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience on concession/design change activities/documentation.
  • Good understanding of engine repair coordination and maintenance planning activities.
  • Engine MRO certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for field and customer support activities.

Nice to Have (Not Must):

  • 3+ Years design engineering experience will be an added advantage.
  • Positive thinking and enjoys working.
  • Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years of experience.
