FEM Analysis Engineer - Aviation Domain

Job locations: Torino

The selected resources, within a team tasked to provide engineering support to development programs related to aero engines/gearboxes, will be involved in simulation, analysis, and structural calculation activities on single mechanical components or complex systems.

The activities may involve stress analysis, fatigue, crack propagation, etc.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate possesses the following requirements:

- Specialist degree in Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautics/Aerospace;

- previous experience in analysis and simulations using the finite element method (FEM), particularly in static linear and non-linear analysis, dynamic, thermal, treatment of contacts, and behavior of materials for mechanical components;

- experience/ability to use ANSYS WB, APDL, and Hypermesh software;

- eventual background in the field of turbomachinery and aeronautic engines, and basic experience/ability to use CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, Solid Edge) will be considered preferential requirements;

- good command of the English language.

Completing the ideal profile are strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, and methodology skills, result-oriented in a dynamic work context characterized by stringent deadlines, reliability, team work attitude, as well as strong communication and relationship management skills, together with organizational flexibility and availability to travel.

Due to the nature of the projects, it is essential to possess Italian citizenship for access to classified data.

Two due to the nature of work, candidates should be EU Citizens in order to be allowed to access classified data.
