FEA Lead Engineer - Turbomachinery

Key Responsibilities

1. Mechanical and dynamic design and optimization of turbomachinery components with a focus on low-pressure blading
2. Application of modern methods and tools, e.g., CAD-based geometry optimization
3. Conducting and documenting FEM calculations and verifying design criteria

Work Experience

• Successfully completed university degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, aerospace engineering, energy technology, or a comparable field with a focus on mechanics
• Very good knowledge in mechanics and (nonlinear) dynamics, lifetime calculation and material mechanics
• Experience with numerical methods (FEM) and 3D CAD design tools
• Good knowledge in the field of turbomachinery and power plant technology is desirable
• Professional and project experience in the mechanical design of machine components
• Analytical skills – result orientation – organizational skills – quality orientation and communication skills
• Good German and English language skills
