Electrical Engineer

Job Title

Handling end-to-end functions projects, operations and maintenance & delivery along with technical & commercial functions, review of basic and detail engineering documents, cost optimization, resource management, installation and commissioning of Oil and Gas plant and substations

Monitoring the performance of Energy & Water Conservation Projects and coordinating for its implementation. Experience in performing Load calculations, Single Line diagrams and Power distribution studies

Planning, initiating, executing and monitoring projects along time, cost and quality including technical (engineering) and techno-commercial coordination with all stakeholders

Worked in Plant Maintenance and Turn around activities

Involved in preparation of Datasheets, Engineering specifications, method statements Operating procedures and Maintenance manuals

Ensuring that all technical and engineering requirements were met including the correct and timely performance of discipline engineering tasks within the project group

Evaluating & prioritizing the Energy Projects based on the cost benefit & absolute energy saving benefits

Performing installation & commissioning; conducting tests & inspections for ensuring operational effectiveness of utilities; planning & effectuating maintenance plans for machines and equipment

Developing a tracking processes by conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) analysis, COPQ (Cost of poor Quality) & OEE (Overall equipment effectiveness)

Improving the process reliability & maintenance effectiveness by measuring the asset management work, predictive maintenance strategy, BOM validation and equipment criticality ranking

Benchmarking the maintenance performances by working on practical loss, manufacturer & cost benefit analysis

Identifying value added and non-value added activities in the system by implementing the value stream mapping

Steering erection & commissioning of machines & equipment and ensuring completion of project in minimum turnaround time with effective resource utilization to maximize the output

Introducing the system for tracking the equipment cost and controlling the overall maintenance of entire plant

Managing the asset performance by implementing the RCM (Reliability-centered maintenance) technique

Tracing equipment performance through CBM (Condition Based Monitoring), MTBF, MTTR, Availability, Reliability, PM/BD, OEE

Preparing the methodology for:

Make or buy, contractor performance evaluation, skill mapping and training identification for contract workforce

Knowledge sharing in the plant

Work Experience

• 8+ years experience with Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
• ETAP simulation experience
• Experience in Oil and Gas domain with Upstream or Downstream refinery experienced
• Tools such as Windows, MS Office
• Exposure to RCM, Preventive maintenance
• Working SAP Purchasing/Maintenance Modules
