Bilingual Feature Leader

We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Feature Leader to lead the development and integration of features for Instrument Cluster and Head-Up Display (HUD) systems. The role requires strong engineering expertise to manage feature requirements, architecture, validation and cross-functional co-ordination in a multi-lingual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead feature development for Cluster and HUD systems, ensuring alignment with vehicle architecture and OEM requirements
  • Translate high-level vehicle requirements into detailed system specifications and functional architecture
  • Co-ordinate with OEM, Tier-1 suppliers, software/hardware teams and testing departments in a bilingual environment
  • Define system interfaces, communication protocols and integration plans; provide integration support and resolve system-level issues
  • Conduct review of supplier work products, including specifications, designs, software modules and test results ensuring compliance with system requirements and automotive standards
  • Drive validation activities including HIL, SIL and end to end testing; ensure diagnostics and feature verification
  • Ensure adherence to functional safety (ISO 26262), automotive standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain feature progress tracking, risk management, and milestone planning; provide regular updates to management
  • Manage supplier collaboration, including requirement clarification, technical guidance, issue resolution and delivery alignment

Work Experience:

Must Have:

  • Deep Automotive Domain knowledge
  • Proven experience in Instrument cluster and HUD feature development
  • Strong system engineering skills: requirements analysis, functional architecture, interface definition, traceability and verification & validation
  • Experience with cross-functional co-ordination, tracking, planning and supplier management
  • Knowledge in inter-ECU communication including CAN, CAN-FD and Automotive Ethernet for Multi-ECU co-ordination
  • Understanding functional safety (ISO 26262) and automotive standards; understanding of safety critical functions in Cluster and HUD
  • Understanding of on-board diagnostics, fault-detection, error logging and troubleshooting for automotive ECUs
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills (English + Japanese) for global collaboration
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Language Skill:

  • English – Business Level
  • Japanese – Native Level
