What You Will Do

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop the functionality using MATLAB/Simulink and test the MATLAB Models using SIMULINK TEST.
• Writing test cases using harness model to perform unit testing in MATLAB environment and achieve software coverage metrics as expected.
• HiTL testing of control software.
• Testing software against the software architecture specification requirements.
• Document identified problems with enough detail and in a manner that supports resolution
• Periodically perform the unit testing when the functionality gets updated in development.

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• MATLAB, SIMULINK, STATEFLOW, Git Extension, Magic Draw and IBM Clear Quest.
• Simulink Test tools, Software coverage metrics, Testing Methodologies.
• Experience and understanding of the operational interworking's of loco control systems.
• A good understanding of Diagnostic and events.
• Experience analyzing system and architecture requirements in a test environment.
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools and software change management, requirements management and traceability, test case development and work flow management

Desired Skills:

• A degree in Electrical/Electronics/computer science or computer engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of related model-based software development and test experience with hands on experience testing/debugging software.
• High degree of attention to detail
• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and concisely
• Self-driven, quick learner, results-oriented and a clear focus on high quality.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
