Senior Software Engineer

The Employee Experience (EX) Team at Qualtrics is a group of incredibly passionate engineers, the first fully operating in EMEA, dedicated to building solutions that help companies understand and develop their employees. We thrive on troubleshooting and solving complex, ambiguous problems for our customers, constantly innovating by building products around AI solutions to deliver the best possible experience. This team operates with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, empowered to shape product and technology roadmaps. We leverage cutting-edge tools and embrace a technology-agnostic approach, allowing us to closely cooperate with customers and real end-users. Our work impacts some of the biggest employers in the world, including Walmart, Nestle, JPMC, Coca Cola, and KFC, all within a great collaborative atmosphere filled with enthusiastic people.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the EX Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product and technology landscape. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple web-based solutions to solve complex business problems
  • Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance
  • Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers

What we're looking for on your CV:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong level of curiosity and interest to learn
  • Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
  • Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
  • Technical flexibility and agility
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience with professional software engineering practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documents)
  • Ability to coach and mentor other engineers
