Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Samsung client office Noida 100% work from client office
Job Title: Storage & Backup Administrator
Experience Required: 4–6 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support for MacBook, iMac, and macOS-related issues (login, performance, applications, updates).
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues, including email, Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, and collaboration tools.
- Assist in device setup, configuration, and deployment of Macs for new hires and existing staff.
- Support software installations and updates.
- Handle password resets, account access, and security compliance checks.
- Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 support or vendor teams as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests in the ticketing system.
- Ensure all Mac devices comply with IT security and corporate policies.
- Educate end users on best practices and basic troubleshooting for macOS.
Required Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of macOS, Apple hardware, and basic troubleshooting steps.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and common productivity tools.
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting.
- Ability to follow processes, document solutions, and escalate when required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field / MCA.
- Knowledge of Windows or mobile device support.
- Apple certification (ACSP, ACMT) is a plus.
Work Location: Noida
Shift & Availability: Must be open to onsite support, including weekends (oncall basis or as required).
