Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable test scripts in TypeScript
- Experience in Mobile automation testing (Appium) is must.
- Automate web application test cases (UI, functional, regression)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Perform cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and report defects
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve test coverage
- Maintain test data, environments, and documentation
- Continuously improve automation strategy and framework performance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in test automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript
- Experience with test runners like Playwright Test, Jest, or Mocha
- Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
