The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's needs.

Responsibilities include assistance with personal care and hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, accompanying clients on outings, shopping and errands, medication assist/ reminders, ambulation and transporting of clients, providing companionship to clients, ability to follow care-plan, and documentation/charting.

Qualifications include Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student), current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain, negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, ability to travel around location territory, and access to Internet/mobile phone.

Compensation: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour.
