Qualicare, Edmonton South has immediate openings for Personal Support Workers/Caregivers!

The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's needs.

Responsibilities include: assistance with personal care and hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, accompanying clients on outings, shopping and errands, medication assist/reminders, ambulation and transporting of clients, providing companionship to clients, ability to follow care-plan, and documentation/charting.

Qualifications include: Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student), current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain, negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, Class 5 License-Ability to travel around location territory, and access to Internet/mobile phone.

Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour.
