Production Artist / Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Prepare and format customer artwork for use in decorating writing instruments
• Create virtual samples for customers
• Edit, place, typeset and save customer-supplied artwork
• Communicate with customers regarding artwork and proofing processes
• Provide phone support regarding order status, pricing, lead times and product information
• Manage high volumes of email communication
• Perform order entry and data entry tasks
• Provide general sales support, including pricing and product details
• Assist in the sample room, including shipping product samples

Requirements for Production Artist / Customer Service Representative:

• Strong computer proficiency
• Ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes; willingness to take on a steep learning curve
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex, multi-step workflows
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator is highly preferred
• Illustrator experience is not required, but must be willing to learn (this role involves editing customer artwork, not original design work)
