Accounts Receivable Support Specialist position available at an established and professional company in Rockford, IL. This is a part time position with the opportunity for hire.

Accounts Receivable Support Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
• Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
• Identify and research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts and communicate with customers on a daily basis to meet company metrics.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Accounts Receivable Support Specialist requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
• Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers and copiers.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
• Familiarity with foreign currencies and exchange rates.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• At least two years of related experience required.
