Sr Microwave Design Engineer

Qorvo is looking for an experienced Senior Microwave Design Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace High-Power RF (HPRF) product development team. The successful candidate will lead electrical design and development efforts of RF power amplifiers for defense communications, radar and electronic warfare applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build complex HFSS EM models of RF/mmWave multi-stage high gain and high power solid-state amplifiers within channelized and/or enclosed cavities

• Integrate MMICs into various housings and assemblies towards innovative High power RF solutions

• Develop advanced cascaded MMIC modules using 2.5D and 3D electromagnetic simulators

• Design PCB-level power management and analog circuitry required for MMIC biasing and health monitoring

• Conduct product checkout, optimization, and design verification testing (DVT) in the test lab

• Execute DVT analysis and present results to the internal and/or external customer(s)

• Support products through critical lifecycle stages including concept/feasibility, development, qualification, and production.
