About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Engineer with current Developed Vetting (DV) clearance to support this project with the Ministry of Defence in Corsham. This is a fully onsite role, requiring a hands-on engineer who can design, implement, and manage secure Google Cloud Platform environments in one of the UK's most critical defence programmes.

What You'll Do:

1. Architect, build, and maintain GCP-based infrastructure aligned with MOD security and compliance standards.
2. Collaborate closely with tmc3 engineers, defence stakeholders, and operational teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
3. Automate cloud infrastructure deployments using Terraform and other IaC tools.
4. Support migration of legacy systems to GCP, ensuring operational integrity and compliance.
5. Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot cloud workloads for performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
6. Provide incident response and resolution for GCP-related issues.
7. Produce clear documentation and share knowledge across MOD teams.
