Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ensure the automation framework is scalable, reusable, and easy to maintain.
• Analyze product requirements and design test cases.
• Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, sanity, and performance testing.
• Execute and monitor automated tests, ensuring high coverage and reliable results.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
• Own and deliver high quality releases.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in Playwright for test automation.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Proficiency in Git for version control.
• Knowledge of databases, preferably SQL.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, Soap UI, or Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like Jmeter.
• Proficient in SDLC, Test Methodologies, Bug Lifecycle, Test Case Development, Risk Assessment.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 3:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Candidate must be cooperative in working on Indian public holidays and will be getting compensatory off against working on holiday.
