SVP Of Branch Operations
The SVP of Branch Operations will oversee and drive the operational delivery of services for the central region, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and effectiveness in supporting NAU. This role will lead the Operations function, manage relationships with shared services, and be accountable for operational transformation efforts to align with strategic goals and enhance decision-making processes. Additionally, the role will focus on continuous improvement, data quality enhancements, and operational effectiveness to support the overall profitability and growth objectives of the NAU organization. Location: USA Work Arrangement: Hybrid or Remote The salary range for this role is: $198,500 - $297,500
Your new role:
- Develop and maintain the Operations strategy aligned with business plans and stakeholder requirements to support business growth and profitability.
- Lead employee engagement, talent development, and performance within the team to establish a culture of accountability and performance.
- Maintain robust control of the Operations sub-division budget and expenses.
- Drive optimization of underwriting operations across the region, including digitization and policy administration solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to provide excellent customer focus.
- Implement SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs to monitor key operational performance indicators.
- Drive the digitization of all commodity business lines in partnership with other teams.
- Oversee and make decisions on operations relating to core systems.
- Lead the regional digital team to ensure digital business efforts meet customer expectations.
- Attract, develop, and retain a high-quality workforce to deliver excellent outcomes and service.

Required Qualifications:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Degree
- Crop insurance industry experience
- Operations experience in financial services or insurance industry
- Leadership and team coaching experience
- Leading multi-disciplined operations/technology teams
- Leading large teams
- Broad strategic planning experience
- Managing businesses
- Extensive experience in underwriting, broking, and/or risk management
- Implementing large organizational change programs
- Insurance and underwriting experience with a focus on strategy
- Managing 3rd party suppliers
- Managing diverse and dispersed teams

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
