What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Westin Casuarina Resort and Spa! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to lead our maintenance efforts, ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities while delivering exceptional service to our guests.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to maintain the hotel's high standards. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves handling all maintenance requests efficiently and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, wall vinyl, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and minor carpentry work.

• Respond to all maintenance requests within 15 minutes and ensure timely and accurate completion.

• Work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, and overnight shifts (11pm–7am), as well as weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in all types of hotel maintenance and renovations.

• Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry repairs.

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask while being goal- and results-oriented.

• Westin Brand experience is a plus.
