  • Identify operational challenges and implement proactive solutions to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Champion a "guest-first" culture; monitor service delivery to ensure exceptional standards.
  • Review guest feedback, trends, and service scores to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Personally engage with guests as needed to resolve service issues and reinforce commitment to excellence.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor department leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Participate in recruiting, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with company values.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Assist the General Manager in managing the hotel's budget, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Monitor labor, operating expenses, and departmental performance metrics.
  • Work with department leaders to ensure cost controls, productivity, and profitability targets are met.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, risk management, and security procedures.
  • Oversee quality assurance programs and property inspections.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hotel management experience in a full-service property; Rooms or F&B leadership background strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience as an Assistant General Manager, Director of Rooms, Director of Operations, or equivalent role.
  • Proven success leading large, diverse teams in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
