Senior Associate, Tax Controversy And Regulatory Services

Those in tax controversy and dispute resolution at PwC will assist clients in managing tax controversies and resolving disputes with tax authorities. In this field, you will provide advice and representation during audits, investigations, and appeals, aiming to achieve favourable outcomes for clients while maintaining compliance with tax laws.

The Opportunity As part of the United States National Tax Practice Tax Controversy and Regulatory Services team you contribute through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while navigating increasingly complex situations and growing your personal brand.

What You Must Have - Bachelor's Degree - 3 years of experience

What Sets You Apart - Juris Doctorate preferred - CPA or Active Member of the Bar - Proficiency in tax controversy and litigation - Specialization in domestic and international tax issues - Technical and legal research of complex tax issues - Demonstrating controversy and litigation skills - Researching tax law questions and preparing memos - Interacting with clients and managing significant litigation - Communicating a broad range of Firm services

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
