Senior Associate In Corporate Tax, Financial Services

Are you looking to make an impact as a tax expert in banks, insurers, fintechs, and pension funds? Do you enjoy combining your tax expertise with technology and tax policy issues?

At PwC, you will work in Corporate Tax, Financial Services, on current and complex tax issues: corporate tax, withholding taxes, international taxation, fiscal transparency legislation, and tax policy. You will build sustainable client relationships in the FS sector and work with colleagues in the Netherlands and worldwide. You will have the opportunity to grow with a career coach who will outline a development path with you. This way, you can combine in-depth content with social relevance and technological innovation.

What will you do?

You will work in an open and inclusive team in Amsterdam where collaboration and impact are central. From day one, you will contribute to challenging client assignments and work with leading technology and AI tools. Learning from each other is a given, supported by coaching and a culture that encourages asking questions. This way, you will grow quickly and celebrate successes together.

As a Senior Associate in Corporate Tax, Financial Services, you will advise clients on the latest national and international tax developments and translate regulations into practical solutions. You will take responsibility in client relationships, work integrated with colleagues from other disciplines, and contribute to projects with a technological or social angle, such as developing solutions that help clients meet tax obligations.

Advise (international) FS clients on current national and international tax developments.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships and act as a point of contact.

Work intensively with PwC colleagues in the Netherlands and worldwide for integrated solutions.

Translate regulations into pragmatic implementations, including technological solutions (e.g., automation of reports).

Contribute to discussions and knowledge sharing on tax developments with stakeholders such as the Tax Authority and OECD.

What do we look for in you?

You communicate clearly, take initiative, and work goal-oriented. You are collaborative and people-oriented, easily build relationships, and see opportunities to create value with taxation, data, and technology.

Completed master's degree in Fiscal Law or Fiscal Economics.

Minimum two years of relevant experience with corporate tax, withholding taxes, and/or international taxation within Financial Services.

Experience in stakeholder management and working in multidisciplinary teams.

Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.

What do we offer?

We offer you the chance to be yourself, to get the best out of yourself in a high-performance organization, and to grow within our global network. Among other things, we offer:

A competitive salary appropriate to your experience, an annual bonus (depending on results and personal development), and the opportunity to grow quickly;

A motivating work environment where collaboration with ambitious colleagues and recognition for your contributions are central;

An extensive range of tailored training programs focused on professional growth and leadership development;

Choose the mobility option that suits you best: an electric car lease or mobility allowance for your business travel expenses, and the possibility to use various mobility providers through one comprehensive app;

30 vacation days with the option to purchase additional vacation days;

At PwC, your well-being is our priority. That's why we offer, in addition to a personal well-being budget to help you grow in physical and mental health, access to the well-being platform OpenUp.

You work on challenging and meaningful client assignments, make use of leading technology and AI tools, learn from the best, and receive support through coaching. Together, we work as an inclusive team to make a real impact.

Flexibility of hybrid working, including a fully equipped home office and a monthly net expense allowance for internet and other costs.
