MuleSoft And DevOps Support Engineer

In infrastructure engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and implementing robust and scalable technology infrastructure solutions for clients. Your work will involve network architecture, server management, and cloud computing experience.

We are seeking a MuleSoft and DevOps Support Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our integration and API ecosystem. You will operate and support MuleSoft workloads, Any point Platform build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor and troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement across our integration platform and DevOps.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling initial user inquiries and troubleshooting basic issues.
  • Operate, monitor, and support MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on‑prem) for APIs and integrations.
  • Support Mulesoft applications built with Anypoint Studio; maintain flows, connectors, and DataWeave transformations, error handling, and messaging patterns.
  • Manage APIs in Anypoint API Manager; enforce policies, rate limiting, and security
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Mule applications (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI), including automated build, test, security scans, and deployment.
  • Manage configuration and secrets securely (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).
  • Execute reliable release strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling) with rollback plans; improve deployment frequency and change success rate.
  • Provide L2/L3 support and participate in an on‑call rotation; triage incidents, restore service quickly, and drive root cause analysis and postmortems.
  • Maintain runbooks, playbooks, and standard operating procedures; automate repetitive support tasks.
  • Identifying and escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams.
  • Assist in testing new features and updates to the platform to ensure quality and performance.
  • Monitor Integration and App performance and report any issues.

Mandatory skill sets:

  • Understanding of cloud services and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings.
  • Certification on Mulesoft, knowledge on SQL server script and DevOps.
  • Expertise in designing secure and high-performing solutions with cloud-native (Azure Dev Ops) approaches.
  • MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager/CloudHub), DataWeave, RAML/OAS.
  • Troubleshooting, resolving, and preventing issues related to MuleSoft and its integration.
  • Working Knowledge on creating and implementing integration solutions using MuleSoft Platform and Anypoint Studio, API manager and other related components, including designing APIs and data flows.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, branching strategies, and scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy).
  • Responsible for assuring stability of backend systems (Application, Servers and network devices).
  • Strong analytical and query debugging skill.
  • Recommend changes those results in increased system productivity, stability, and/or cost savings.
  • To be updated on latest technology advances and make recommendations where appropriate.
  • Basic understanding of software development and app platform operations.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and support tools.
