Position Summary

Strengthen our Commercial & SME Banking capabilities. Advise Belgian banks on digitizing operations, enhancing product offerings for SME and Corporate clients, and re-engineering customer lifecycles on core business banking platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, map, and optimize core processes across the SME/Business Banking value chain: onboarding, credit origination/servicing, cash management.
• Advise on improving product design and digital experience for business customers (portals, mobile/web, service touchpoints).
• Contribute to the functional design of new commercial banking platforms: define features, workflows, integrations, SLAs.
• Provide clear business impact analyses, quantifying benefits such as efficiency gains, cost savings, and operational risk reduction.
• Support pilots and roll-outs, working through issues with operations, product teams, and client stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 2-5 years' experience in a business banking role (SME/CORP) or consulting focused on this segment.
• You are a strong analytical thinker, able to quantify impact and drive measurable improvements.
• You are a confident communicator, able to engage with both business and IT stakeholders.
• You are proactive, resilient, and thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
• You are constructive, positive, and always looking for ways to help your team and clients succeed.
• Fluent in English, with professional command of Dutch or French.
