Join a high-impact team dedicated to solving high-scale infrastructure challenges through open-source tools. You will be instrumental in designing and enhancing the Dominator ecosystem, a suite for secure fleet management and automation. This role is a prime opportunity to drive the future of our configuration management and deployment frameworks, collaborating closely with core engineering teams to accelerate our product development velocity. We are looking for an engineer to lead the charge in creating the gold standard for developer experience.
Own and elevate the Dominator Config Management and Image Deployment framework, ensuring our distributed machine fleets are updated, synchronized, and secure at massive scale.
Design and implement core features within key Dominator subclusters, specifically in areas like Identity and Access Management and Virtual Machine Management.
Accelerate innovation by automating and optimizing infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows to create a frictionless and rewarding developer experience.
Elevate system performance and reliability by identifying and resolving complex bottlenecks and bugs, writing robust, high-quality code, and conducting rigorous code reviews.
Partner with cross-functional engineering and product teams to translate infrastructure needs into scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions.
Exceptional proficiency in Go for building high-performance, large-scale distributed systems (98% of our core codebase).
Expert-level knowledge of Linux systems and a strong foundation in systems automation and configuration management principles.
Deep experience designing and implementing virtual machine management solutions using systems similar to OpenStack.
Proven ability to ship high-quality code in a fast-paced environment, including experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
