The Role

Pure Storage is disrupting the data storage industry, but our talent brand's market potential is untapped. We are looking for a Principal-level Global Talent Brand & Marketing Lead with deep digital marketing expertise to architect, build, and operationalize a high-impact, data-driven talent brand function from the ground up. This is a hands-on, "team of one" builder role ideal for someone who can create the entire infrastructure, refresh and activate our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and launch measurable, multi-channel global recruitment marketing campaigns. You will be the central player, collaborating across Employee Engagement, Corporate Marketing, and TA teams to drive measurable market penetration and direct hiring impact.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and Scale the Global Talent Brand Function: You will architect the infrastructure for Pure's global talent brand, establishing scalable processes, governance, and frameworks where none currently exist, setting the strategic direction for years to come.
  • Design and Execute High-Impact Global Campaigns: Develop and launch multi-channel recruitment marketing campaigns across paid social, programmatic, content syndication, and nurture flows (via GEM CRM), leveraging labor market intelligence to sharpen targeting and messaging with a focus on measurable conversion.
  • Drive Content and Channel Ownership: Own the content strategy, calendar, and creative brief development for all talent brand channels (web, social, podcasts, CRM), and be hands-on with basic design/video editing, ensuring a consistent and compelling external narrative.
  • Implement Advanced Analytics and Optimization: Build the attribution modeling and funnel analysis framework for recruitment marketing, using UTM tagging and Google Analytics to measure campaign engagement and hiring impact, and build dashboards to drive iterative, data-backed optimization.
  • Activate Employee Advocacy and Internal Partnership: Partner with Employee Engagement to enable authentic user-generated content (UGC) campaigns and activate employee voices, while also collaborating with TA Enablement to train recruiters on activating the EVP in candidate interactions.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Staines office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

What You Bring

  • Deep Digital and Performance Marketing Expertise: Proven track record (6+ years) in talent brand, employer branding, or recruitment marketing with expert-level proficiency in digital marketing and performance marketing.
  • Marketing Tech and Data Fluency: Expert-level skills in marketing analytics (Google Analytics, attribution modeling, UTM tracking) and hands-on experience with CRM nurture marketing (e.g., GEM or a similar platform).
  • “Builder” Mindset and Experience: Demonstrated experience building a marketing function from scratch, including process design, vendor/agency onboarding, and the identification/implementation of necessary tooling and platforms.
  • Content Creation and Agency Management Skills: Practical, hands-on experience in content creation (e.g., basic design or video editing) combined with successful experience managing and leveraging creative agencies or content partners.
  • Optimization and Strategic Targeting Acumen: Strong expertise in SEO/SEM, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and funnel optimization, coupled with the ability to translate labor market intelligence into targeted, effective brand campaigns.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level, and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity. There is no application deadline and we accept applications on an ongoing basis until the job is filled.

The annual base salary range is: $176,000 - $265,000 USD
