Senior Technical Project Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile engineer with expertise in networking, virtualization, and Microsoft 365 to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-class solutions, as well as providing Tier 3 escalation support to our managed services customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to create and maintain clear documentation and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement best practices across networking and virtualization.
• Configure and administer backup and replication systems.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for escalated issues from managed services customers.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation for system installation, configuration, and support.
• Coordinate the sharing of best practices and procedures with team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental and organizational performance.
• Occasional travel to assigned sites as needed to complete project work.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Credit Union Industry is a plus.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, and security/compliance features.
• Experience with enterprise backup and replication technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially in escalated support scenarios.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel as required.
