We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team based in Nürnberg. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Processing customer complaints
  • Contact person for the customer
  • Carrying out analyses (with quality tools), traceability and containment
  • Reporting in the 8D Report
  • Action tracking of the 8D Report, effectiveness and closure
  • Customer audits
• Processing of supplier complaints
  • Contact person for the supplier
  • Performing traceability and containment
  • Evaluating the 8D from the supplier
  • Follow-up of action plans
  • Implementing operational measures to ensure and continuously improve supplier quality
  • Supplier audits
• Processing of internal quality issues
  • Daily check of the blocked quantities
  • Processing of fault reports in the fault reporting tool
  • Creation of evaluations
  • Training of employees
  • Carrying out 6S and Quick Process Audits, as well as Gemba Walks
  • 3rd party audits

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• Preferably a degree in a related Engineering field
• Previous experience in industrial business
• Good communications skills
• Fluent in both English and German
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• SAP, Share Point, Teams knowledge advantageous
• Experience in dealing with customers, suppliers and production
