Service Technician

The Service Technician is responsible for shipping and receiving functions, equipment maintenance and cleaning of equipment and vehicles, handling of medical gases, cylinders, bulk oxygen, loading vans and trucks, and transporting materials to assigned customers. The successful candidate must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, be a quick learner, show attention to detail and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing inventory and stock levels when required
  • Repair, clean and restock equipment.
  • Delivery of supplies and equipment to assigned customers.
  • Proper maintenance and record keeping of equipment at assigned customers.
  • Stocking, picking, packing and shipping.
  • Perform all warehouse activity as needed. Examples: pick, pack, ship
  • Resolving inventory discrepancies and returns and exchanges.
  • Cleaning and testing electronic and other medical equipment.
  • Maintain safe driving record.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic and medical equipment preferred.
  • Experience with bar code equipment, scanners and UPS online manifest software preferred.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs
  • Able to drive to assigned facilities as required & maintain company vehicle.
  • Travel as required with overnight stays.
  • An excellent safety and attendance record
  • Proficiency with Work, Excel, Outlook software
  • Hours will vary, but are roughly 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but ability to work overtime and weekend hours as needed is required.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum Experience Required:

1-year related experience

Minimum License/Certification Required by Law:

  • A current state issued driver's license is required.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check (MVR) having it show no major violations.
