Mission

As part of the NIT Operations Center of Excellence, the Data Quality Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and usability of data across BSS and OSS systems. This role focuses on both proactive data cleaning and reactive root cause analysis, enabling operational excellence and supporting business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality Monitoring & Cleaning

• You implement and maintain automated scripts and batch processes to detect and clean corrupted or inconsistent data.
• You support First Time Right provisioning and improve success rates of repair and provisioning actions.

Root Cause Analysis

• You investigate recurring data quality issues across systems such as MIB, MCOM, SLY, ISIS, ABD, ABR, SUPS, SALTO, OMS, NPS, IMS, etc.
• You collaborate with application owners and squads to identify systemic flaws and propose sustainable solutions.

Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer

• You act as a key contact for DQ within the NIT Operations CoE.
• You facilitate knowledge sharing across teams to improve data handling practices and reduce silos.

Customer-Centric Mindset

• You ensure minimal impact on end-users by proactively addressing data issues.
• You maintain a high level of responsiveness and accuracy in resolving incidents.

Your Profile

• Educated to bachelor or master level (preferably in IT) or equivalent through experience.
• Analytical, assertive, and strongly customer- and solution-oriented.
• Technically proficient with a broad understanding of IT systems and automation tools.
• Highly systematic, and detail oriented.
• Motivated, eager to learn, and resilient under pressure.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and/or English.
