Volunteer Services Supervisor

Supervisor Volunteer Services - Volunteer Services at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Full Time and will work <40>-hour, Day shifts.

Under the direction of the Senior Director Clinical Operations, the Volunteer Services Supervisor coordinates all activities of the Volunteer Program, including interviewing, selecting, and training prospective volunteers. Develops volunteer assignment descriptions in collaboration with user departments. Schedules and places volunteers. Provides mechanisms for volunteer recognition and ensures regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: College coursework in business management, healthcare management or human services.
  • 3 years of experience in volunteer management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services upon hire.
  • 1 year of experience being involved with local agencies, community groups and other hospital constituencies.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance/accreditation processes.
