Are you an accomplished and forward-thinking privacy engineering professional who can take on global product ownership of our privacy-enhancing software capabilities?
You will be responsible for driving product innovation and execution in key areas such as data anonymization, synthetic data generation, and privacy risk mitigation.
This role is ideal for a leader who brings a balance of technical depth, strategic product mindset, and people-first leadership, and who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments focused on enabling secure, responsible data use.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead the roadmap while owning and driving the engineering for core privacy enhancing technology capabilities including:
- Advanced data anonymization techniques.
- AI-driven synthetic data generation.
- Re-identification risk assessment.
- Data utility and fidelity optimization.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code to design, develop, and maintain high quality software products and features.
- Act as scrum master and product owner for Data Privacy products.
- Ensure our solutions meet industry and regulatory standards while pushing the envelope of what's possible in privacy enhancing technology.
Engineering Mentorship & Delivery Oversight:
- Provide hands-on technical and architectural guidance to engineers building scalable, secure, and performant data systems.
- Facilitate agile development processes and manage the delivery of complex projects on time and with high quality.
Qualifications:
- 8–12 years of experience in software engineering or product development, with at least 3–5 years in engineering leadership or director-level roles.
- Proven experience owning and delivering data-centric software products in privacy, security, AI/ML, or adjacent domains.
- Advanced programming skills with core expertise in Python.
- Hands-on knowledge of: Data anonymization frameworks (e.g., k-anonymity, t-closeness, l-diversity).
- Synthetic data generation techniques (GANs, diffusion models).
- Differential Privacy techniques and algorithms.
- Container/API platforms, distributed systems, and scalable data processing.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling engineering teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence across geographies and functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with compliance and privacy regulations.
- Contributions to open-source privacy or synthetic data tools a plus.
