ProSidian seeks a Social Work Aide | Social Services for program support on an Exempt 1099 contract: no overtime pay basis technical element generally located across the CONUS - Charlotte, NC across the Mid Atlantic Region supporting.
We seek candidates with relevant government and public services sector experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for government and public services sector clients such as COC. This is a technical element or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) social services functional area professional - social services support position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.
Provide services and support as a social services support (social work aide) in the government and public services industry sector focusing on human capital solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) | Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) generally located in CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (of country/world).
Assist in intake and needs assessment for clients.
Accompany social workers on home visits.
Prepare case notes and maintain client records.
Coordinate referrals to community resources.
Support program activities and events.
The role(s) are located in the Mid Atlantic Region is at or near CONUS - Charlotte, NC. Initially identified work site address (subject to change or working remotely): 650 East 4th Street Charlotte, NC 28202.
Desired qualifications for social work aide | social services candidates:
Familiarity with human services processes and community resources.
Education / experience requirements / qualifications:
High school diploma required; associate's in social work or related field preferred.
1–2 years in community support or administrative assistance in social services.
Primarily focused on professional and management development training initiatives and aligned with 255 activities 255 functional area activities.
Interpersonal communication, empathy, organizational skills.
Cultural sensitivity, discretion, adaptability.
Supports crisis response activities.
Assists with data collection for grant reporting.
Reports to licensed social worker or case manager.
