About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Support Intern who will take pride in delighting and empowering our customers by providing superior customer service and demonstrates a friendly and helpful personality teamed with technical acumen to add to the Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) technical support team. The technical support team is responsible for delivering first class security awareness training support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Proofpoint technical support intern, you'll play a key role in assisting both internal employees and external administrators by troubleshooting technical issues, managing support tickets, and collaborating closely with the Technical Support team and leadership to ensure timely and effective resolutions. You'll also have opportunities to contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and testing efforts that enhance the overall customer support experience.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability in a dynamic, collaborative environment
  • A proactive mindset with curiosity to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Ability to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week) during the summer internship/Co-Op period
  • Strong academic performance and eagerness to gain hands-on experience
  • Comfortable working remotely or from our Pittsburgh, PA office.
