We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who is energized by Promise's mission to distribute relief and help low-income families catch up with their past-due utility bills. An engineer in this role will have had past experience in a post-sales customer-facing technical role, demonstrating strong software engineering fundamentals while also exhibiting the soft skills, patience, and forward-looking attitude necessary to achieve customer success.
Our Forward Deployed Engineers align with their customers and have empathy for their success while maintaining a high technical bar and a drive for finding solutions. We value experience with technologies like Next.js, NodeJs, React, Java, Docker, and SQL databases; experience working with enterprise Customer Information Systems software like SAP and Oracle is not required, but is a plus.
