Job Summary:

As the High-Pressure Boiler Operator, you operate, repair, and maintain steam plant generating equipment, refrigerated water production equipment and all auxiliary equipment. You are also directly in charge of all steam boilers and auxiliary equipment as dedicated by the State of Ohio. You are responsible for continuous and uninterrupted safe and efficient operation of all systems and equipment. Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of steam and water piping systems with competency to make repairs
• Knowledge of electrical trouble shooting techniques and a working knowledge of electricity
• Knowledge of boiler water chemistry and cooling tower water chemistry; capable of performing competent water analysis on the systems
• Knowledge of fire extinguisher methods and capable of executing correct methods in the event of a fire

Preferred Requirements:

• 2 years working for ProMedica Toledo Hospital Facilities Department
