Project Marketing Manager
This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client's time zone.
Our client is a US-based digital marketing agency specializing in marketing solutions for concrete and coating contractors. The agency has built lead generation systems for hundreds of clients across the country, offering services including SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, paid advertising, websites, and full marketing systems. With a strong focus on quality, automation, and AI-driven efficiencies, the company is seeking a highly operational and AI-native leader to oversee internal project delivery and execution.
Role Overview
The Project Marketing Manager will own internal delivery across the agency, ensuring all campaigns are executed on time, aligned with strategy, and delivered at a high standard of quality.
This role requires a highly organized, operationally sharp, and AI-native professional who can manage SEO, website, content, GBP, and advertising projects while building systems and AI-driven solutions that improve scalability and team output. Although the role is not client-facing, it is critical to the success and consistency of the agency's deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Project Delivery
- Manage SEO, GBP, website, content, and advertising projects from start to finish
- Translate client packages and SEO strategies into clear, executable plans
- Manage project boards in ClickUp to ensure deadlines, accountability, and task completion
- Lead and develop the fulfillment team by setting expectations, reviewing performance, and enforcing accountability
SEO Strategy & Quality Assurance
- Serve as the final reviewer for SEO audits, keyword research, content plans, and technical recommendations
- Align execution with SEO strategy and client goals
- Adjust strategies based on performance data and execution realities
- Set priorities and sequencing for SEO initiatives across accounts
AI & Tool Development
- Build and deploy AI tools and agents using Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, or similar platforms
- Use AI and automation to replace manual workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Support the development of scalable AI-driven operational systems
- Bonus: familiarity with frameworks such as OpenClaw or Hermes
Results & Performance Monitoring
- Review and approve all client deliverables before release
- Monitor metrics including organic traffic value, GBP performance, keyword rankings, and lead quality
- Proactively identify projects that are off-track and implement corrective actions
Systems Improvement & SOP Development
- Build and maintain quality control checklists, audits, and review systems
- Identify broken workflows and implement operational improvements
- Document, maintain, and create SOPs as needed
Ownership & Decision-Making
- Balance strategy, execution, capacity, and quality across multiple services
- Make confident prioritization decisions across ongoing projects
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improved delivery processes
- Escalate issues only when they materially impact timelines, scope, or client outcomes
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of agency experience, preferably supporting US-based clients
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO strategy and execution experience
- Experience managing cross-functional remote teams
- Experience overseeing project delivery across SEO, content, websites, GBP, or paid media initiatives
Skills
- Strong expertise in local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, technical SEO, content strategy, internal linking, and site architecture
- AI-native mindset with experience building tools, agents, or automating workflows using Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms
- Strong organizational, operational, and project management abilities
- Highly assertive, deadline-oriented, and quality-focused
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with ClickUp, Slack, Google Sheets, and SOP documentation
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, LeadSnap, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools preferred
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) environments preferred
