Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Linux and Cloud Application Support Specialist for Space Dock, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for ensuring virtual machines and applications run successfully within a platform as a service environment. The Linux and Cloud Application Support Specialist will be responsible for new installation and deployment of platform as a service systems, to include monthly systems updates and troubleshooting application or VM issues.
You'll play a crucial role in keeping our platform, Bessemer, running smoothly for a growing base of customers. This is a hands-on role where your ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize live cloud environments will have a direct impact on mission success.
Our platform spans multiple cloud environments — AWS, Azure, and OpenStack — and we work with a wide variety of technologies. You'll have the autonomy to own your work while collaborating with a supportive team that values knowledge-sharing, kindness, and technical excellence.
