Job Title

Experienced Electronics Technician with PCB Design Experience

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent. Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Essentially, you'll perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems as well as perform technical activities which impact the proposal, system level design, detail design and manufacture of advanced electronics systems.

We are looking for an Experienced Electronics Technician with PCB Design Experience in our McLeansville, North Carolina facility. We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between. As an Electronics Technician for Undersea Systems, you'll support development and testing of opto-electronics, for high reliability undersea communication systems.

  • Experience managing an electronics laboratory.
  • Experience with ECAD library
  • Computer-aided design experience for electrical and mechanical assemblies (ECAD / MCAD).

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor's of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields
  • Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards

  • Experience with electrical design tools like Siemens Xpedition.
  • Experience with mechanical modeling in Solidworks, NX, or CREO.
  • Experience with PDM systems like Windchill.
  • Hands on experience testing printed circuit boards and building fiber optic test beds.

USD $96,521.00 - USD $104,438.75 /Yr.
