Supplier Approval Quality Engineer (w/m/d)

At our location in Dahlewitz, south of Berlin, we develop, produce, and maintain state-of-the-art propulsion systems. To strengthen our global Quality Team, we are looking for a dedicated professional to manage and optimize the approval and qualification of our suppliers worldwide.

Your tasks:

• Global processing and coordination of supplier approval applications for development, production, and maintenance
• Support and consultation in the creation of approval applications
• Review of approval-relevant documents for the approval process
• Coordination and administration of capability analyses for the new approval of suppliers
• Cross-functional and global coordination of risk analysis to monitor supplier approvals
• Review of approval-relevant processes for effectiveness, development of improvement suggestions, and implementation in the Rolls-Royce quality management system
• Creation of reports on the current status of supplier approvals
• Development and conduct of training for the supplier approval process
• Global support of authority and customer audits within the framework of the supplier approval process for development, production, and maintenance operations

Your profile:

• Completed university degree or a related at least two-year vocational training with many years of professional experience – alternatively comparable qualifications and experience
• Several years of relevant professional experience or in-depth expertise and specialist knowledge in the relevant field
• Sound knowledge of aviation law as well as in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) is advantageous
• Proficient use of MS Office and SAP
• Fluent English skills in speech and writing for international communication
• Independent and structured working method with a high degree of discretion
