An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Parts Planner (SPP) within the Trent Fleet & Mature Engines (TFM) – Fleet Management Planning & Control team.
This role will be pivotal in establishing and managing the processes for optimised used spare parts material demand & inventory on any given TFM - Fleet engine programme to satisfy customer requirements and ensure aftermarket activities continue to generate significant revenue and profit for Rolls-Royce plc.
The successful candidate will carry out the parts planning, forecasting and inventory management activities required to support a wide range of customer, overhaul, repair and distribution networks. Other key activities include working closely with external and internal stakeholders (used material / supply chain) to understand part policies/usage, developing new approaches and recommendations to improve financial performance and demand accuracy. Whilst maintaining an operational focus on emerging risk to MRO overhaul activities.
