We are seeking a Tosca Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing to work in a client-facing Agile environment. The role involves close collaboration with clients, SMEs, product owners, and internal QA teams to understand sprint scope, identify automation opportunities, build a scalable automation framework, execute test cases, and provide clear, actionable test reports to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a client-facing QA resource, working closely with SMEs, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to understand application functionality and sprint scope.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with manual testing teams to identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
  • Perform manual testing activities including functional, regression, and system testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
  • Create reusable Tosca modules, test cases, and execution lists.
  • Execute automated test cases during sprint cycles, regression runs, and release validations.
  • Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with development teams for defect resolution.
  • Prepare and share test execution reports, automation metrics, and quality status updates with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and quality assurance processes.

Required Skills:

  • An overall 6-8 years of experience in testing, with relevant experience of around 4 years in Tosca automation testing.
  • Experience in testing Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)/Hybrid Frameworks.
  • Good understanding of test automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid, etc).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, practices, and tools (ex., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Jira).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
