Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in data engineering to lead the design, development, and maintenance of data architecture and pipelines. The candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices while architecting scalable data solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-level data integration solutions
• Establish data engineering best practices and coding standards
• Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and reliability
• Lead troubleshooting of complex data issues
• Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions

Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Business Objects, Webfocus, SQL and optimization techniques
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake)
• Experience with Python programming language
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Experience with data modeling and data warehouse architecture
• Knowledge of data governance and security protocols
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience

Good to Have:

• Experience with DataOps and DevOps practices
• Understanding of data mesh principles
• Experience with data quality and testing frameworks
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI)
