Division Manager Operations - Clearwater, FL

Future Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Division Manager to oversee and grow OSP construction projects within a defined market. This role combines hands-on project execution with local market ownership, including client engagement, team leadership, and operational oversight.

You will be responsible not only for delivering projects successfully, but for owning performance in your market, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, relationships are strong, and operations scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Market Leadership & Ownership

  • Serve as the primary owner of OSP project delivery within your market
  • Act as a local leader representing the company with clients, partners, and field teams
  • Partner with leadership and business development to support market growth and client expansion
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business
  • Provide input on market conditions, staffing needs, and operational improvements

Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee OSP construction projects from planning through completion
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and clients to ensure scope, specifications, and timelines are clearly defined
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment across all phases of construction
  • Plan and manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials
  • Ensure all permits, documentation, and pre-construction requirements are in place

Field Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day project execution with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
  • Supervise field supervisors, foremen, and crews, providing direction and support
  • Conduct site visits, progress reviews, and field inspections
  • Resolve issues in real time to keep projects on track

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within your market
  • Provide regular project updates and manage expectations
  • Lead meetings with clients, internal teams, and field leadership
  • Address challenges proactively and maintain strong client relationships

Financial & Operational Management

  • Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial performance
  • Partner with finance on billing, forecasting, and reporting
  • Review and negotiate change orders to control scope and margins
  • Work with procurement and vendors to secure materials and manage costs

Team & Resource Management

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and assignment of field staff and contractors
  • Help build and scale teams as project volume grows within the market
  • Establish clear roles, expectations, and accountability across the team

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing OSP or telecom construction projects
  • Proven ability to lead projects and operate independently within a market or region
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and scheduling
  • Experience managing budgets, cost controls, and project financials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both in the field and with clients
  • Experience managing vendors and subcontractors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • PMP or similar certifications are a plus
