Job Description
The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre- hospital and inter-facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification
- Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card
- Current and valid AHA ACLS card
- Current and valid AHA PALS card
- Valid Driver's License
- CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
- Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred
- Good driving record
